Top 5 Ideas For an Empty Fireplace

Posted on Updated on

We often have empty fireplaces in living rooms, which are out of use, and there’s nothing we can do about it! When I moved to my current house, that was the main feature in the living room, just a big hole in the wall, which probably could accommodate free standing electric heater, but as we know it is not the most attractive look. So what can you do to make it look attractive? Here is the list of my Top 5 favourite decoration ideas for an empty fireplace:

1. Rustic coal scuttle with bunch of dry wheat

2. Christmas rustic arrangement:

Love old suitcases! The best use of those I ever saw was at the wonderful Priory Bay Hotel on the Isle of Wight.
