I’m not around at the moment as I’m finding it tough to deal with the loss of my ex-husband and friend, Roy Heather, who died on Wednesday morning.

He was best known for playing Sid the café owner in John Sullivan’s classic sitcom, Only Fools and Horses. Looking at the tweets being sent is extraordinary. I wouldn’t exactly say he’s trending, but I’m still amazed by the love and support being shown. Someone even tagged him alongside Joan Rivers – this seems right since Roy could make anyone laugh!

If you want to know more about Roy, I am trying to write a tribute to him for my theatre blog, Rogues & Vagabonds.

Take care and keep laughing!

My sincere belated condolences. He made people laugh, ergo he was an outstanding success, both as a performer and a human being.
